I’ve had several blogs before this one, but due to neglect they have been left behind.  Hopefully this time around I’ll be more faithful.

This blog isn’t about anything specific.  It’s just about my life and everything that happens, anywhere from cooking adventures and outdoor excursions to the embarrassing moments that happen daily.  I hate to admit it, but I make a lot, a LOT of dumb mistakes that are really embarrassing!  But I’m the kind of person who can laugh at myself; I just hope it makes y’all laugh too!

I love to read, like I’m addicted.  I don’t really like e-books though.  I understand that it’s supposed to be easier to carry and you can have a whole library in the palm of your hand, but I’m a big fan of the real thing.  I want to feel the book in my hands, physically turn a page instead of pushing a button or tapping a screen.  I like all kinds of books – the classics, like Pride and Prejudice.  I can read Wuthering Heights over and over.  I like funny books, like The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society.  I love all books by John Green (if you haven’t read him, stop reading this and go find him.  Seriously.).

I listen to all kinds of music.  I love love love George Watsky (want to see how fast he can rap?  Click here.  His new mixtape is here and it’s a completely free AND legal download!)  But I also listen to Billie Holiday, the Ramones, Arctic Monkeys… The list could go on and on!  I really listen to almost anything from any genre.

TV shows… I do watch TV, possibly more than I should.  Okay, okay, really I know I watch more than I should… In my defense it’s any easy way to unwind!  But we all know that’s just an excuse!  I watch Criminal Minds, reruns of Grey’s Anatomy, Bones, almost anything on the Food Network, Supernatural, and wait for it (How I Met Your Mother reference!  Love it!) DOCTOR WHO!  Yes, I watch Doctor Who and I love it.  Any other Whovians out there??

I’m a Yankees fan (hope I didn’t lose any body right there)!  I love to watch baseball!  Yes, I’m fully aware of how boring it can be.. trust me.  But I still like to watch it!  I am also an Auburn fan!  (For those of you who may not know, that’s my university’s football team and 2010 National Champions!  At this point, we are undefeated with 17-0!)  It’s hard not to be though when you’re a student here.  I’m not a big big sports person though.  Baseball, I get.  I can watch and know what’s happening… Football however, I have the slightest grasp on it.  It’s like watching something that’s playing in another language to me.  I’m not sure I’ll ever really grasp it unless I start watching all the games on ESPN, but let’s be honest, that will never never happen!
